Rick Astley dan RickRoll’d

Rick AstleyLast week, I went with Roy for lunch. At our way back to his office, we saw this big billboard of ‘Rick Astley in Concert’. You can see the big signboard accross Taman Ria Senayan. Well, I never knew Rick Astley before, not in my generation - later I found out his famous songs.

The song is “Never gonna give you up”, its a former #1 song in the US, UK and so on. It was a big song way back when in 1987. Howeverrrr… the famous song (video clip) has been a popular prank tools. When a person clicks on the link given and is led to the web page he/she is said to have been “Rickrolled”. By extension, it can also mean playing the song loudly in public in order to be disruptive.

I Recommend TED - Ideas worth spreading

Ted

Just a week ago, my buddy Benny recommend me to watch Ted.com. “It’s an Ideas Worth Spreading” he said. And it is.

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader. This yearly conference used to be shared among exclusive members, what happens there has never been shared until now.

The site has more than 200 interesting archives. The convenient way to watch the thread is to subscribe with their feeds.
