Bill Gates Visit to Indonesia - 2008
Bill Gates is in the town.. Everyone is excited. My Ms Indo friends even more excited as they have a chance to meet him in person. Here are several ‘funny’ quote from my friends :

Too bad he didn’t share the answer in his blog, call him this evening and he said it supposed to be ‘internal only’ 
I believe it took a lot of efforts and monthly preparation, my friend who works in Cisco Certis also notice the plan of BillG visit a months ago. Despite all the hectic and incredible works of schedule arrangement, I found several interesting facts from Mr BillG visit :
- “Math, Physics and Engineering are more potential compares to other fields and it can help us to change the world better” - Bill Gates, Indonesia
- “I recommend you to finish your study, I’m not a good example :)” - Bill Gates, Indonesia
- Muhammad Nuh, our ICT Minister once reacted with a so-what attitude regarding BillG’s visit, change his tone just in a matter of day. “Nuh said the government would review feasible cooperation with Microsoft.”
- Since SBY-Gates first encounter, SBY has a close relationship with BillG. It’s natural, you know you can get along with someone when you share the same passion, idea or the invisible factor : chemistry (?). In his tight schedule, he still spent some time to accompanies our President leaving the campus in Redmond. According to my friend in Redmond, this is rarely happened
- Mr Gates is using Indonesian Traditional costume : Batik. Period.
- Everyone excited ? You bet.. including a silly comment of police raid afterwards and abandoned of open source community..
- SBY ask Gates to ensure Indonesian employee in Redmond to go back home someday… *hmm*
