Made in Indonesia
After being my best friend for several years, it’s time for my Timex to rest in peace. The old wipes out, replace with the new one.
Casual or Business purposes, I always wear my Timex. He finally met his life cycle after we both went to project site last week. Unfortunately, we were passing the (unexpected) flood along the entries way. If I could I swear the flood was not as bad as you think. It was just around 30-80cm high, and 20m long. I have to, somehow, get into project site no matter it cost to manage several stuff physically, meet in person with several gentleman to get things done. However, looking at the Product Specification, the watch has water resistance up to 50 meters. But I guess I was wrong, read carefully the text below the ‘INDIGLO’ . It must be ‘WR 5CM’ instead of 50 meters..
I bought this $50 Timex 2 years ago from Amazon.com - The Earth’s biggest collection. It was shipped to Sheraton Hotel somewhere in Seattle when my manager attended a business meeting, and met me, his owner several weeks afterwards.
I bought this watch because I fell in love with it when I saw it, but when I received it I liked even more. Many people felt in love with this watch, and you might not found this collection in local store.
But hey, Guess what, when I attempted to fix this dying watch in Mangga Dua, the shopkeeper told me that I’m using local product. Yeap, beneath this dressy, solid and elegant watch - crafted 3 words “Made in Indonesia”. How’s that ? Ha Ha..
