Wii would like to play
Wii who ? Introducing Wii from Nintendo. Now, before I continue - let me clarify that I don’t have any intention at all on this post due to the similarity of Nintendo masterpiece Mario Bros games 
I used to spend my last 15 minutes in office reading rss news, surfing here and there, just to broaden your horizon and see what’s going on the market today. So today I spot one news in my RSS : “A Wii workout : when videogames hurt”. Confused ? Same here.. Never heard about wii before, lead me to search what is it all about. Well, It’s just a new console from Nintendo. Old player which so unfortunate lost its domination in gaming market share, blame pop culture, SEGA, PS, PC and Taiwan made chips. I only knew either XBOX or PS3 that spent a million of marketing budget, stand on each own standard of DVD and those kind of cool graphics and games that run super sexy on Samsung HDTV in games related headlinse. But hey, What is Nintendo doing ? One news lead me to another news, and it started interesting.
Seems that Nintendo choose to create their own battle field, and it’s so cool. (and clever if you see how they market their product with cheap and effective viral marketing)
Now, if you see this image.. I bet you will have the same perception as mine. Lousy, old fashioned model compared with XBOX style (not PS3, i dont like the design and the TCG - Total Cost of Gaming

I believe you will amaze and praise how Nintendo approach to entry the gaming market. Most of my friends have the same reaction after they see the teaser. If you see the idea, or ‘click’ with Wii - I’m preety much sure you will happy to see the next teaser.
There’s also some movie or comment who critizing Wii, including a bunch of idiot who play Tennis game and accidentally (or not) lost his grip on Wii controller and it hit the television hardly. It’s your decision whether you will like it or not.
Talking about Viral Marketing and cheap promotion, look at what Nintendo did. They create an easy, light teaser of Wii. They mission ? Let people understand how they can play a video game differently, no cool games, no blue ray, no hard disk, it’s just a simple tag line of two humble chinese people offering a console to you “Wii, would like to play”, “Nintendo - Wii are back” and it spread all over the world. How much does it cost for Nintendo ? Probably 10 years of absence and become of loser worth of experience for them.
…. and by the way, shouldn’t I support XBOX ??? Of course, I do…!! That’s my company you talking about, and people should buy XBOX instead of PS3. Experience the true Live gaming in your home and rich gaming experience in Xbox. Rite? But I just need a regular mineral water & little exercise of tennis or bowling (or boxing ? hmm), after playing Halo3.
